Harvest Rosé is a sparkling cider-and-wine blend. Juice from locally harvested Marechal Foch, a French-American grape variety, was co-fermented with fresh-pressed Gravenstein apple juice. The dry cider-and-wine was then blended with small-batch dry Gravenstein ciders prepared by the retail staff at the Annapolis Cider Company that were fermented using four different yeast strains. Fresh-pressed Geneva Crab apple juice, a red-fleshed apple variety, was added to balance and finish the blend. The result is an elegant off-dry rosé cider with bright acidity and notes of red-berries and fresh apples.
